Getting started
Would you like to try archery? You are very welcome at Amicitia 1893! Our experienced archers will be happy to teach you the basics of this wonderful sport.
Introductory subscription
As a beginning archer you take an Introductory Subscription for € 50.00. This three-month subscription includes:
- Guidance from experienced archers who will teach you the basic technique
- Use of the club’s equipment (bow, arrows, protective gear)
- Participation in regular training sessions
After three months you decide whether you want to take out a basic membership and buy your own equipment, or rent it from the club.

What to expect
During your first visit you will learn the basics: how to hold the bow, take the correct stance, and how to aim and shoot. Our instructors will guide you step by step. All the equipment you need is available — you don’t have to bring anything yourself.
Archery is suitable for all ages and you don’t need any prior experience to get started.
